Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 30, 2026
This policy explains how Enriched Code Inc. (“Enriched Code”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal information through this website and in the course of our business. It applies to visitors in Canada and elsewhere, and reflects our obligations under Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information (“Law 25”) and other applicable privacy laws.
1. Who we are
Enriched Code Inc. is an IT consulting firm located at Unit 221 — 3450 Rue Saint-Denis, Montreal, Quebec H2X 3L3, Canada. For any question or request about this policy or your personal information, contact us at info@enrichedcode.ca or 1-877-266-6419.
2. Personal information we collect
We only collect personal information that is necessary for the purposes described below, mainly when you choose to contact us or apply for a position:
- Contact details you provide through our contact form, by email, or by phone: name, email address, phone number, organization, and the content of your message.
- Application details if you respond to a job posting: your resume, cover letter, portfolio links, and any information you choose to share during the recruitment process.
- Business contact information of clients, suppliers, and partners, exchanged in the course of delivering or administering our services.
- Basic technical information recorded by our web server in standard access logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested), used only for security and troubleshooting purposes.
3. How we use personal information
We use personal information to respond to your inquiries and quote requests, to evaluate and process job applications, to provide and administer our services, to meet legal and contractual obligations, and to protect the security of our website and systems.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it to send unsolicited marketing. We do not make decisions about individuals based exclusively on automated processing.
4. Cookies
This website uses cookies — small files stored on your device. Strictly necessary cookies are required for the site to function (for example, remembering your cookie choice) and are exempt from consent under Law 25.
Optional cookies that are not strictly necessary (for example, audience measurement or embedded third-party content) are only set after you give consent through our cookie notice, and you can change or withdraw that consent at any time by clearing your browser storage for this site. Your web browser also lets you block or delete cookies; blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the site works.
Details about the cookies we use are described in our Cookie Notice, shown on your first visit and available from the footer of every page.
5. Sharing and service providers
We share personal information only with service providers who host our website or help us operate our business (for example, email and hosting providers), and only to the extent needed for the purposes above. When we engage a provider that collects, uses, or stores personal information outside Quebec, we conduct an assessment of the privacy impact and apply contractual protections, as required by law.
We may also disclose personal information where required or authorized by law, for example to comply with a court order or a legal obligation.
6. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy and for the retention periods required by Quebec law (for example, business and tax record retention requirements). Information that is no longer needed is destroyed or anonymized.
Job applications that do not lead to an engagement are kept for a reasonable recruitment period and then deleted, unless you ask us to keep them longer.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- Be informed of the personal information we hold about you and obtain a copy of it;
- Request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
- Withdraw your consent to the collection, use, or disclosure of your information at any time, subject to legal and contractual restrictions;
- Ask us to stop distributing or to de-index any personal information about you that is publicly available, where applicable;
- File a complaint with us, or with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (CAI).
8. How to exercise your rights
To access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to withdraw consent, write to info@enrichedcode.ca. We respond within 30 days of receiving a request. We may ask you to provide identifying information to confirm your identity before we act on a request. There is no charge for a reasonable request.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec at cai.gouv.qc.ca.
9. Security
We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and the principle of least privilege for our team members. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; if a breach of personal information occurs that presents a risk of serious harm, we will notify the CAI and the affected individuals as required by law.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The date of the latest revision appears at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
